 Previous Situation
Application of 2k products with 7-axis robots.
Astra needs:
abate emissions into the air at same product and process quality.
 Present Situation
The installation was modified as follows to apply base and water soluble 2k finish:
• Acclimatised semi-vertical flow paint cab replaced
• Oven replaced with new forced laminar flow one
• Painting system replaced with painting robot interfaced Plc Siemens electronic management system
• Electrostatic system insulated for water-soluble materials
